- Send from wherever you already talk — text, Instagram, or email. The link is just a link.
- Set a flat or percentage deposit per job, and edit the price when you quote something custom.
- Policy acceptance is recorded with a timestamp before any payment, so cancellations stay calm.
- You confirm every outcome: completed, no-show, refund. Nothing is charged on its own.
How payments are handled
Straight answers, no badges we haven't earned.
- Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted checkout and are never stored by SpotHeld. The optional dashboard tour is demo mode: seeded sample data, no real account and no money moved.
- Deposit links use long random tokens, can be revoked by the owner, and never expose account identifiers.
- A deposit is only marked paid when the processor confirms it. Refunds are recorded once and cannot be duplicated.
- Processing fees are charged by your payment processor and are separate from your SpotHeld subscription.
